Boko Haram attack Nigerian village
The Boko Haram fighters stepped a local market in a village near the northeast Nigerian city of Maiduguri, killing atleast four, security sources said. Scores of Boko Haram gunmen attacked Kayamla village, 20 kilometres from Maiduguri, capital of restive Borno state, and shot on a weekly market yesterday, killing four traders, a senior security official in Maiduguri reported.They looted food stores and stole livestock from the market before fleeing into the bush, said the security official, who asked not to be named. The official told "It was obvious they were looking for food to replenish their supplies because they didn't target residents as they normally would."
